Your tuition reserves a specific teacher, studio, and time and must, therefore, be paid whether the lesson is attended or not. If the teacher is absent, the lesson will be made-up. Teachers are NOT required to provide make-up lessons for student absences, but may do so at their discretion, and only if they have received 24 hours notice that the lesson was going to be missed. If you are going to miss a lesson, please leave a message at the studio as soon as possible. If a teacher and student cannot find a mutually agreeable time for a makeup lesson, a credit for the missed lesson will be granted on the next tuition payment.

In cases of inclement weather, we will be closed if the Spencerport school district is closed. These lessons MAY be made up depending upon teacher availability.

All tuition payments are due on or before their due date. If a missed payment is not received within seven days, a $10 late fee will be assessed for each week a payment is past due. The late fee will appear on the next tuition bill. Holland Music Studios reserves the right to terminate a student's lessons for non-payment of tuition.

A $25 fee will be charged for any check returned to Holland Music Studios for non-sufficient funds (NSF).

If you decide to discontinue lessons, we require four weeks written notice. Tuition is due for these final four weeks, whether the lessons are taken or not. If you have paid ahead, you will receive a refund for the remaining unused tuition after the four weeks are up.

While it is our wish to provide you with a quality, long-term instructor, Holland Music Studios does reserve the right to substitute instructors, with notice to the student, should it become necessary.

If you have a problem or concern about your lesson, please speak to the teacher first. If you are unable resolve it, you may communicate directly with Dr. Holland, the Director of Holland Music Studios.

Please be on time for your lessons. If you arrive late, you will receive only the remaining lesson time. The teacher may give you extra time only at their discretion, and if there is not another student waiting for a lesson immediately following yours.

Parents, please accompany students under age 11 into the studio and wait with them until their lesson begins. Also, please pick up your children promptly after their lessons have ended. Younger siblings of students must be supervised at all times.

Please do not bring food or drink, other than bottled water, into the studio.

If you refer a student who enrolls in Holland Music Studios, you will receive a gift certificate for $20 off a future tuition payment. Tell your referred friends to enter your name in the space provided on their registration form, and within a few weeks you will receive your coupon from the Studio.

Materials

 Every student should have a digital recorder to record the lessons. A notebook or folder to keep your sheet music and lesson cd’s in. A bottle of water. I suggest getting a “singers” bag to keep it all organized in and ready to bring to your lesson.
